Thou shalt have no other gods
While Anna and Marco are struggling with the organization of their wedding, Andrea, the son of a famous heart surgeon from Spoleto, is kidnapped. Anna, in addition to finding the baby, will have to solve a professional issue that has tormented her for months and risks becoming an obstacle to marriage. Meanwhile, a bizarre treasure hunt puts Spoleto in turmoil: everyone is looking for the money left by a mysterious benefactor, thousands of euros enclosed in boxes accompanied by origami. Is it simply a game? What if someone took advantage of the confusion to hurt Don Matteo?
Not take the Lord’s name in vain
Don Matteo welcomes in the rectory the little Ines, a six-year-old girl who lives in Spoleto with her grandmother who can no longer take care of her. Sofia, on the other hand, comes to terms with an event bigger than her and that will bind her inextricably to Jordi, a classmate marginalized by everyone. Meanwhile, after serving six years in prison, Sergio La Cava, a charming and mysterious thirty-year-old with a dark past, shows up in town.
Remember the sabbath day
On the occasion of Easter, Captain Tommasi returns to Spoleto, together with Lia and little Nino. Following a violent blow to the head, Giulio is convinced that he is still the Captain of Spoleto and that he is engaged to PM Bianca Venezia. In order not to make the situation worse, Nino will have to go along with him. But what if the marriage of our former captain was really in crisis?
Honour thy father and thy mother
A mysterious man shows up at the rectory: Manlio, the father Natalina never knew. After the first diffidence, the two begin to bond, even if Don Matteo believes that the man is hiding something. Ines becomes increasingly attached to the PM, who has become her legal guardian, while Anna, who struggles to find a balance with Marco, offers Sergio a second chance.
Thou shalt not kill
Nada, a Ukrainian girl, is rushed to hospital: in the middle of the night, she was hit with a van and, apparently, Don Matteo was driving! While dealing with the case, Anna has to deal with her cousin's wedding, where she decides to go with Sergio. Meanwhile, the whole of Spoleto is preparing for the event of the year: the Pope will arrive in the city!
Thou shalt not commit adultery
After a few unsuccessful attempts, it seems that Ines and Sergio can really become a family, thanks above all to the help of Anna. In the Barracks, ours must solve a case involving Sara Santonastasi, the new chief prosecutor and a man from his past. Nino, meanwhile, disappointed by a lack of promotion and offended by the behavior of colleagues, thinks about resigning and a new career as an influencer on the web with exceptional tutors: The Jackal!
Thou shalt not steal
Alice is a sixteen-year-old girl who is in Spoleto for the funeral of her mother, found dead by Don Matteo. The girl claims that her mother went to the village in search of her twin, who the woman claimed had been stolen from her crib. Nino and Elisa quarrel over the arrival of Eugenio Nardi, Marco's charming father. To make his wife jealous, Cecchini makes her believe that he has a special friendship with the actress Elena Sofia Ricci.
Thou shalt not bear false witness
A woman is found dying. Her daughter, Chiara, says she knows who it was: Don Matteo, her father! The accusation is doubly shocking. While Anna and the Marshal fight to prove his innocence, the priest closes himself in silence. Meanwhile, Nino has to keep at bay Sister Luciana, a missionary aunt, who has not seen her nephew for years and who, because of a "little lie", is convinced that her nephew is a priest.
Thou shall not covet your neighbor’s wife
Don Matteo saves from the flames a girl victim of an attempted femicide. Meanwhile, Nino is struck by a rare and curious disorder: he no longer hears male voices, but only female ones! And this triggers a series of misunderstandings that will involve Anna, the PM and Patatino. Meanwhile, Jordi faces an audition in a prestigious dance school in Rome, while between him and Sofia it all seems over, the secret of the girl, now come out into the open could separate them forever.
Thou shall not covet your neighbor’s house
Sergio is in trouble because the body of a woman was discovered in his house. Anna believes in the innocence of the man, but the prosecutor Nardi is not entirely convinced. Meanwhile, the Canonica is in turmoil: the Pope has proposed to Don Matteo to become a Cardinal. For Natalina, Pippo and Nino it is a hard blow and the only way not to make him leave for Rome is to "boycott" Don Matteo and put him in a bad light in front of the Apostolic Nuncio.
