Episode 1
Louise is determined to continue working as a profiler and when a couple is found brutally murdered, she takes on the case. She assists Detective Inspector Frederik Havgaard, who believes he knows who the killer is.
Episode 2
Louise finds Björn's little sister Maria. Maria's caseworker suggests that Louise act as a mentor for the young woman. Frederik visits the municipality of Breidablik, where Bjørn lived with his mother and Maria.
Episode 3
The police hunt for Bjørn intensifies after the new murder. Frederik and Louise discover the truth about Bjørn's past after searching Pelle's house.
Episode 4
Another crime occurs and Frederik is convinced that Bjørn is the perpetrator. Louise, however, suggests a different suspect for the crime. Bjørn turns to Louise to reveal a secret that could solve the case.
Episode 5
Louise has moved to Århus to start afresh, but the past catches up with her when she meets Frederik again. He involves her in a new case in which a disabled woman is found dead.
Episode 6
Louise and Frederik discover a connection between Bjørn and Alberte, who both grew up in the municipality of Breidablik. Louise moves into the municipality undercover to help the police in their investigation.
Episode 7
Louise and Frederik pressure Jon to take responsibility for his actions, but once again he takes advantage of his relationship with Alberte. Louise faces the past and finds peace.
Episode 8
Louise's cover is blown. Meanwhile, Frederik discovers that one of Jon's old friends, who also owned Breidablik, died in a mysterious fire.
