Chapter 1
Betty arrives at the Ecomoda company for an interview for the position of presidential secretary with a brilliant resume, but discovers that there is a candidate with more options than she does.
Chapter 2
Armando decides to hire Patricia and Betty as secretaries for the presidency and although Betty receives the bodega room as an office, Armando gives Betty the most important functions and Patricia public relations, except managing her personal agenda, which infuriates Marcela.
Chapter 3
During Betty's first buyer's show, she makes a mistake. While she was trying to help Armando and handed him a color chart that he asked for, Betty enters the middle of the parade and falls off the stage.
Chapter 4
Armando reiterates to Betty that his personal agenda cannot be given to anyone. Marcela arrives at the office to complain about leaving Patricia out of her personal affairs, while they are discussing fidelity, Karina Larson, one of the models with whom Armando had a relationship, arrives. Betty tries to get her out of the company.
Chapter 5
Betty tries to hide Karina's presence at Ecomoda, making Armando take her outside, but Patricia sees her and goes and tells Marcela. They try to get Betty's diary out while Armando leaves, taking Karina with him.
Chapter 6
Marcela asks Betty to hand over her position to Patricia, especially the agenda. Armando arrives and argues with Marcela, thanks Betty for what she has done and tells her that he no longer needs a trial period. Mario tries to convince Armando not to get married, he develops a computer program to find the ideal woman.
Chapter 7
Marcela gives Armando a judgment of all his womanizing past, ending up seducing him, forgiving him and promising not to intervene again in his company's affairs. Román calls Betty to ask her out. After an argument with her father, she manages to get him to give her permission for their date. Betty waits to be picked up, even though it's been over an hour already.
Chapter 8
Betty cries inconsolably because she has been rejected again. Nicolás angrily complains to Román, who hits him with his fist. Hermes, Betty's father, also complains to Román, and they end up giving him a blow.
Chapter 9
Betty prepares a secret job to surprise Armando and stand out at the meeting, Patricia rehearses this conversation where Betty tells her mother this. Patricia traces something. Armando sits down with Betty to file the diary.
Chapter 10
Betty confronts Román and humiliates him. Patricia, helped by Marcela, asks Betty for the reports and Patricia hands them over as if they were her own, for which she is congratulated. Armando and Marcela doubt the need to have Betty if Patricia is capable of doing such an efficient job, the barracks invite Betty to lunch and tell her about the company's gossips.
Chapter 11
The barracks tells Betty about Ecomoda's history, its characters, the familiar gossips, and the rivalries between Armando and Daniel. Daniel asks the board to review Armando's proposal very carefully, as he considers it impossible to fulfill.
Chapter 12
At the end of the meeting, they congratulate Patricia on her report. Betty confronts her, but Marcela intervenes and convinces Betty not to tell Armando that the report was hers. Ecomoda employees serenade Roberto in his farewell.
Chapter 13
Armando asks Betty and Patricia to help him design a business plan, but Betty very smartly tells him that since Patricia wrote the report, she should do the project. Patricia angrily agrees and asks Mario for help. Betty asks Nicolás for help in writing the report.
Chapter 14
Betty and Nicolas work on the project all night. Mario and Patricia prepare dinner and talk about love, when Patricia tries to make him work, Mario seduces her and they wake up together.
Chapter 15
Betty spends the entire night doing Armando's work. When she arrives late, she finds Armando furious. Patricia and Mario arrive late and without work. Betty doesn't get a chance to hand the job over to Armando. Hermes arrives at Ecomoda to speak with Armando.
Chapter 16
Betty, very scared, tries to stop Hermes from arguing with Armando, while Armando, furious, admits to Marcela that Betty is of no use to him and that he is going to fire her. Armando fires Betty without giving her the opportunity to hand over the work she has done for him.
Chapter 17
As they say goodbye, Betty hands the report to Armando, who, surprised and fascinated, hugs Betty and sits down with Mario to review it. Patricia tells Marcela about the wonderful night she spent with Mario and the possibilities she has of getting married.
Chapter 18
Marcela and Patricia are very frustrated to learn that Betty was not fired, but that she made the business plan which Armando and Mario are very happy with. Mario tries to avoid Patricia.
Chapter 19
Daniel warns Olarte that from now on he has to take care of Betty and any movement she makes.
Chapter 20
Betty is convinced that the love of her life is Armando after Mariana reads her tarot cards. Armando announces to everyone that Betty will be in charge of the financial part, under Olarte's authority. Patricia seeks an alliance with Olarte to fight Betty.
Chapter 21
Patricia, to make Mario jealous, makes Marcela arrange a date with her brother, Daniel Valencia, a date that turns out to be a failure because of Daniel's contempt for her. Aura María invites Betty to go out with some friends.
Chapter 22
Betty goes out with Aura Maria and her friends to a disco, where both Betty and Aura Maria's friend are bored, as the guy is disappointed that Betty is not the woman he expected. Betty is terrified of Aura Maria's behavior towards her friend.
Chapter 23
Betty lies to her parents, Julia, her mother, is happy, convinced that Betty has met someone. Armando delegates to Betty the management of relations with the Bank, annulling Olarte.
Chapter 24
Armando thanks Betty for everything she has done for him, and she takes it as a declaration of love. After a few months, Betty interrupts a racecourse at the club to get Armando to sign a promissory note for the disbursement of a loan. Marcela is shocked to see that Armando does not scold her, but congratulates her for doing what she did.
Chapter 25
Despite Marcela's fury, Armando asks Betty to stay and join them for lunch with the executives of RAG-TELA, a textile company, and again Betty saves the business. Armando appoints her as assistant to the president. Betty cries with emotion.
Chapter 26
Betty tells her friends that Armando has appointed his assistant to the presidency and they go to celebrate in the bathroom, but are interrupted by Patricia who attacks them; they defend themselves and Patricia tells Marcela. Marcela tells Armando what happened.
Chapter 27
Marcela calls a meeting of the barracks and Gutiérrez, the chief of staff, to ask for a reprimand and a deduction from her salary for assault. Armando, who has heard Betty's version of events, interrupts the meeting and accuses Patricia, as well as announcing Betty's appointment as assistant to the president. Betty alarms Armando with the report.
Chapter 28
Armando, in view of the situation and Betty's diagnosis of the goals established in Armando's project, Armando asks Betty to compose the data to be presented at the meeting. Daniel shows up at Ecomoda and asks Olarte to try to get the report before the meeting.
Chapter 29
Mario seduces Patricia and convinces her to go with him that night. Armando arrives an hour late at his parents' house, who have just arrived from London; Marcela doesn't say a word to him. Betty works on the report with Nicolás and tells her parents that her salary has been increased. Olarte goes to Betty's office and turns on the computer.
Chapter 30
Olarte cannot access Betty's computer. Betty and Nicolas work all night on the report. Olarte and Patricia plan to distract Betty so she can't finish work for the meeting.
Chapter 31
Patricia manages to lock Betty's computer. Armando tells the board that they have to wait for the computer to be repaired. The technician asks Betty for the password to get the information.
Chapter 32
The technician accuses Betty in front of the board of having damaged the computer; she gives the technician the passwords to get the information. Betty's friends help her, and Aura Maria calls a computer expert friend and tells Betty that the damage can be repaired in an hour.
Chapter 33
Betty tells Armando that the computer problem has a quick solution, he confronts the technician who promises to deliver it in 15 minutes. Finally, Armando announces that the report is ready and there is no need to postpone the meeting.
Chapter 34
Betty presents the report in front of the board, while the barracks distract the technician and they find the report in the files he is taking from Olarte.
Chapter 35
The headquarters gives Betty copies of the files hidden by the technician and she, in turn, gives them to Armando. Armando interrogates her and confesses what happened, but only names Olarte as the only culprit, saving Patricia. Armando interrogates Olarte.
Chapter 36
Orlando removes Olarte from Ecomoda, but does not hand over Daniel and Patrícia. Armando gathers the family, informs them about the layoffs and the causes and confirms Betty. The barracks suspect Patricia, as well as Armando and Mario.
Chapter 37

While Betty reviews the contract with RAG-TELA's managers, Armando flirts with an ex-queen who is at the cocktail party.
Chapter 40
Armando has to interrupt his flirtation with Claudia when he receives a call from Marcela. Armando picks Betty up on the street and takes her home and again asks her to stay by his side and trust him.
Chapter 41
Hermes is informed that the company where he works is going bankrupt and that they are going to fire all the employees. Miguel calls Betty to confirm their meeting. Armando goes with Betty to the banks to register his signature.
Chapter 42
Betty asks Armando for a job for Nicolás. Armando tells Hugo and Marcela that Betty will be in charge of the company when he leaves on his trip.
Chapter 43
Betty, despite having rejected Miguel's offer, recommends Armando to buy their supplies, as the prices are the most favorable. Daniel visits Patricia so that she can give him information about the company.
Chapter 44
Daniel asks Olarte to help him investigate whether the fabric people offered commissions to Betty. Nicolás advises Betty to accept Miguel's offer. Mario leaves with Aura Maria.
Chapter 45
Olarte confirms Daniel's suspicions about RAG-TELA. Armando, Mario and Betty leave for RAG-TELA to sign the contract.

Armando and Mario sign the contract with RAG-TELA. Miguel calls Betty to ask her how she wants the commission to be paid, Olarte calls Miguel and Miguel tells him that everything went very well with Betty, this conversation is recorded by Daniel.

Betty tells Armando and Marcela about the commission she was offered. Daniel Valencia shows them the recording he made of Olarte's call referring to Betty's commission. Chapter 49
Armando increases Betty's salary and calls RAG-TELA to find out about the confusion with her, and demands a 5% discount. Catalina Ángel arrives at Ecomoda to manage public relations for the new collection to be launched. Mario and Armando propose Betty to design the new company, which will have only one owner, she.
Chapter 50
Armando explains to Betty (hiding reality a little) the conditions and reasons why he needs to create this company, she accepts and also tells him to occupy Olarte's office, but she asks him not to separate her from him. Betty tells Nicolás and he, very happy, asks her if he can do interventions.
Chapter 51

Marcela manages to convince Hugo to do the show with fabrics from RAG-TELA. The show is done, but the European guest designer tells Catalina that the designs in the collection are good, but the materials are not, and that he doesn't think the collection will work.
Chapter 55
When the parade ends, the singer Anasol begins her presentation. Marcela tries to get Armando to apologize to Hugo, but he says no. Hugo resigns and leaves Ecomoda. Don Roberto warns Armando that with these materials the situation can become very difficult. Catalina asks Armando to find Hugo because he could publicly discredit him.
Chapter 56
Armando goes looking for Hugo in a bar. Betty and the firehouse go clubbing. Nicolás is at another disco with Román and her friends. Hugo arrives at the bar and sees Armando.

The barracks get drunk and Sofia discovers her ex-husband with the model, she makes a fuss over him. Roman and his friends betray Nicolas and his supposed guest, make out with Roman and force him to pay the entire bill. Armando convinces Hugo and proposes a bet where if he loses he must dress like a Drag-Queen.
Chapter 58
The entire barracks get drunk, except for Inesita, who calls Fredy to help her with everyone. Fredy carries the loaded Betty. Don Hermes picks up Betty from the disco. Armando asks Betty to summon the executives to tell them that she is in charge of Ecomoda.
Chapter 59
Mario invites Aura Maria to lunch before the trip. Armando, Marcela and Mario leave for Miami, after which Betty takes over her duties and has her first confrontation with Patricia when she becomes her boss. Armando calls Betty a few days later and she asks him to go back to Colombia because things are not going well.
Chapter 60
Betty receives the sales reports and asks Patricia to reconfirm Armando's return for the next day. Betty does not approve of Hugo hiring models for sizing and they rebel against her. When Armando arrives and considers the situation so serious, he asks Betty for a loan for Ecomoda.
Chapter 61
Nicolás takes Betty the checkbook and the company seal for the loan. Mario rejects Aura María and she intends to take revenge. Armando and Mario write the check for 100 million pesos for Betty to sign.
Chapter 62
Armando and Mario convince Betty that nothing will happen with the loan, but that it is a preventative measure, and she signs the check. Aura Maria enters Mario's office and when they kiss, Patricia enters and catches them; a scandal interrupts and Mario expels Aura Maria from Ecomoda. Daniel also asks Patricia that if she is not going to be his informant then she should leave Ecomoda.
Chapter 63
Armando authorizes Hugo to take two of the three models for sizing and orders him to find one with an ad in the newspaper. Betty intercedes for Aura María with Armando and he orders Gutiérrez to readmit her, but Gutiérrez blackmails her and asks her out that night to negotiate her readmission.
Chapter 64
Fredy, upon learning that Aura María is not going to be fired, tries to locate her to warn her against Gutiérrez and asks Bertha, Gutiérrez's secretary, for her cell phone number and home phone number. Armando receives a model at the office and asks Betty for discretion. Betty spends the night locked in the office. Gutierrez's wife arrives at the disco and angrily drags him out with her.
Chapter 65
Fredy arrives at the disco and leaves the watch as a guarantee for the unpaid invoice left by Gutiérrez. Patricia apologizes to Daniel and accepts his terms. Armando regrets leaving Betty locked up all night and gives her the day off.
Chapter 66
Gutiérrez arrives at the Ecomoda beaten, scratched and furious, and asks Bertha and Fredy to resign. The barracks asks Armando for help and he confronts Gutiérrez. Mario comes up with a new sales strategy to save the company.
Chapter 67
Understanding the economic catastrophe of the sales report, Armando proposes to Betty that his company reacquire Ecomoda and despite Betty's arguments for refusing to do so, Armando finally convinces her. Marcela arrives from Miami and realizes the situation and is furious with Betty; Armando defends her.
Chapter 68
Armando and Mario ask Hugo for a new collection and he accepts, but only if it is made with top quality materials, and reminds Armando of the bet he has with him to dress as a Drag-Queen. At the casting that Hugo is doing for the sizing model, Sofia's husband's lover arrives; she makes a fuss, but Hugo hires her.
Chapter 69
Hugo has the model contracted on purpose and at the request of Sofia and Armando, whom she asked for the favor. Betty gives Armando a guarantee for the Ecomoda embargo.
Chapter 70
Marcela complains to Aura María about the scandal with Mario. Armando asks Betty to be very discreet with the transaction and that no one finds out. Sofia continues to insult the model, who in turn ridicules her.

Hugo forces Armando to dress up as a Drag-Queen and arrives at the club where he is very well received. Marcela goes out to eat with Patrícia and a model.
Chapter 79
Armando fulfills the bet and when he wants to leave he finds himself trapped by several cars and has to leave to take a taxi dressed as a Drag-Queen, while Marcela waits for him accompanied by Daniel, Maria Beatriz and the model he has to hire that same night. , Armando desperately asks Betty to catch him in a taxi.
Chapter 80
Betty picks up Armando and when he is unable to get into Ecomoda to get his clothes, Betty takes him home and Julia and Betty try to help him. Hermes gets up and they hide Armando, but his cell phone rings.

Betty and Julia manage to distract Hermes and Armando is able to leave for his house. Patricia tells Daniel that Mario traveled to import fabrics. Armando and Marcela hire Patricia Vasquez.
Chapter 82
Armando travels to Panama. Bertha wears the dress she bought at Ecomoda, the same as Patricia's, and Patricia is furious while Hugo and Marcela laugh. Fredy crashes Armando's car while flirting with the model.
Chapter 83
Patricia, on Daniel's orders, goes into Betty's office to look for the names of the suppliers in New York, and Betty discovers them. Betty tries to track down Armando to bring him up to date on what's going on.
Chapter 84
Betty tells Armando what happened to Patricia, who calls Marcela to complain. Seeing what's going on, he decides to travel that same day while Fredy tries to solve the car problem as soon as possible. When Armando arrives, Fredy is unable to tell him about the accident.
Chapter 85
Armando doesn't notice the car accident because of his anger towards Patricia, she pretends to be sick to avoid responsibility. Armando believes that the car was crashed in the apartment's garage, Fredy is safe.
Chapter 86
Dian captures the truck drivers. Charlie Zaa arrives and the barracks are in an uproar. Armando is shocked to learn that they have been tricked and that the middleman has disappeared and that they are unable to recover the tissues.
Chapter 87
Unable to solve the problem with Dian due to the smuggling of fabrics, Armando asks Betty to have Terramoda seize the Ecomoda. Armando summons Marcela and Hugo to a meeting to inform them of what happened.
Chapter 88
Armando gives Marcela an accommodating version of the supplier's mistake in New York. Hermes offers to take Armando and Betty to the notary to execute the guarantee. Patricia calls Armando to let him know.
Chapter 89
Don Hermes ends up complaining about Armando's mistreatment of Betty and the latter, regretful, tries to hide it. Mario tries to omit Patricia with the issue of her pregnancy. Marcela asks Armando, on behalf of Daniel and herself, to call Roberto and tell him what's going on.

Bertha discusses with the barracks the advantages and disadvantages of liposuction or the car. Armando and Mario go find Catalina to help them with the collection.

Armando and Mario convince Catalina to work with them. Claudia Helena and her partner accept the credit terms and do the deal.
Chapter 95
Betty receives the loan on behalf of her company and Armando asks her to continue the embargo process against Ecomoda. The model asks Hugo to let her appear, but he refuses. Bertha appears at Ecomoda after her liposuction.
Chapter 96
Marcela announces to Armando that her parents will arrive the next day. Armando, worried about the creditors, sends Betty to find a lawyer to enforce the embargo. Mario and Betty negotiate with the lawyer.
Chapter 97
The model leaves with Fredy to ask him to help her get her show. Betty makes an agreement with the lawyers for the mortgage to be taken out preventively.
Chapter 98
The firehouse discovers Patricia working at a gym and suspects that her pregnancy is fake. The lawyer and Nicolás present the process for the embargo.
Chapter 99
Bertha and Sofia arrange for the company to force Patricia to undergo tests, including a blood test for pregnancy. But she does not appear as insured in the contract.
Chapter 100
Roberto and Margarita arrive and he is very worried about the failure of the collection, Marcela tries to calm him down. Armando and Betty ask the bank manager to be cautious about the embargo.
Chapter 101
Daniel arrives at the meeting at Roberto's house. Fredy tries to convince Armando and Hugo to let Jenny walk, but Hugo rejects her. Bertha arrives at her house where her husband is waiting for her with the car.
Chapter 102
Armando manages to escape the meeting that Roberto asks him to attend. Bertha calls the lab posing as Patricia to request a pregnancy test.
Chapter 103
Margarita and Roberto arrive for the Ecomoda meeting, at the same time that Doctor Sanchez and the notary clerk arrive to take inventory at the Ecomoda for the embargo.
Chapter 104
Armando tells Roberto and Daniel that the men they saw at the company are from the insurance company that will insure Ecomoda. Roberto is satisfied with the balance presented by Betty. Lawyers continue to take inventory.

Hugo shows the new collection to Roberto and Margarita. Claudia, one of the models, flirts with Armando, Marcela notices. Armando signs the embargo order. Claudia enters Armando's office and kisses him, he responds.

Betty manages to get into Armando's office and hide Claudia when Marcela enters and searches everywhere for her. Armando questions Betty about this Nicolás after overhearing a telephone conversation. Betty tells them that he's been giving his reports while working with Terramoda.

Marcela angrily asks Armando to fire Claudia, but he refuses because she is the main model for the show launch the next day, so Marcela asks him to fire Betty. Armando suspects that Nicolas is Betty's boyfriend.
Chapter 108
Armando asks Betty if she has a boyfriend, but she denies it. Marcela tells Patricia that she is going to break up with Betty. Patricia confronts the barracks, Marcela intervenes by attacking Betty. Armando asks Bertha if Betty has a boyfriend.
Chapter 109
Bertha tells Armando what Mariana told Betty in the tarot cards and he becomes more concerned. Bertha calls the lab and is told that the pregnancy test results will be sent out today.
Chapter 110
The envelope with Patricia's exams arrives and Gutiérrez takes it without Bertha being able to look at it. Claudia, the model, is getting drunk in preparation for the fashion show. Mario suggests to Armando that they have to make Betty fall in love with him in order to get Nicolás out of there.
Chapter 111
Claudia gets drunk and Armando throws her out. Bertha retrieves Patricia's tests and discovers from the results that she is not pregnant. She decides to go to the hotel to tell Mario. Armando calls Jenny to replace Claudia.
Chapter 112
Mario and Daniel, each on their own, try to negotiate with Patricia to take responsibility for their child without committing themselves. The ugly women arrive at the hotel, but the doorman stops them from entering. Freddy arrives with Jenny to the surprise of the barracks.
Chapter 113
To the surprise of the ugly ones, Mario tells Armando to let Betty and her friends in. Jenny, confused by Sofia, who writes her insults in a letter, trips on the catwalk and Hugo pulls her away.
Chapter 114
The parade ends with great success. The ugly ones wait for Mario to give him the news of Patricia's test, but when Patricia realizes this, she complains to Bertha and threatens to report her for asking for the test. Patricia has to tell Mario and Daniel that she is not pregnant. Nicolás and Hermes arrive at the hotel to pick up Betty.
Chapter 115
When Fredy leaves with Jenny, Aura Maria seduces him and he dumps Jenny. Armando is even more worried when he discovers that Nicolás Mora has a business card as manager of Terramoda.

Betty tries to talk to Catalina to tell her what happened at the Ecomoda, but Catalina asks her to take advantage of the trip to forget everything. Patricia is informed that her car is being permanently taken from her.

Betty accompanies Catalina to a party with the queens at the fishing club where she meets Michel, a French friend of Catalina's. Marcela tells Patricia everything and Bertha's son is born. Meanwhile, Armando, saddened, drinks at a bar.

Betty refuses the invitation to go out that night with Catalina and Michel, she prefers to be alone and walk around the hotel, she goes to the sea and touches it for the first time. Armando drinks alone in a bar thinking about Betty.

Catalina convinces Betty to wear one of her dresses and tie her hair back, and they go to the English army cocktail party with Chica da Silva, Michel and Ornela. Betty feels very lonely and out of place throughout the party. Marcela asks Armando if he fell in love with Betty.

Armando confesses to Marcela that he fell in love with Betty. Tais gives Betty advice on how to get rid of sadness. Catalina and Betty go to the arrival of the Buque Gloria, which is received by the President of the Republic.

Betty meets Buque Gloria. Nicolás Mora arrives at the board on Betty's behalf, but everyone rejects his replacement. Patricia attacks him with questions, Armando begs Nicolás to tell Betty that he needs her. Catalina and Betty arrive at a clothing store to buy clothes.

Catalina and all her friends convince Betty to go to a party in a chiva to say goodbye to Tais. Marcela talks to Armando about his absurd love for Betty, but he still doesn't listen to her. Michel invites Betty to stay with him on the beach for a while.

Michel accompanies Betty and asks her to meet him the next day. Armando is still drunk at the bar, they take him outside and send him in a taxi. The board meets again waiting for Betty to show up. Nicolas arrives and after moving away from Patricia, he enters the boardroom.

Nicolas refuses to say where Betty is and tells them to wait until she arrives. Patricia makes another scandal for Nicolás. Betty asks Nicolás to send the foreclosure lawyers to Ecomoda.

Margarita begs Armando to win back Marcela's love and the company. Nicolás calls the lawyers, but they say that the arrest cannot be reversed.

The lawyer Santamaría advises all of them to stay in Betty's hands to save the company and they finally agree. Betty discovers that her mother has read the diary. The board has to decide who will talk to Betty about the new conditions.

Roberto decides to be Betty's interlocutor. Betty complains to Julia about reading the newspaper. Santamaría cancels the meeting with Betty and the lawyers in his office. Roberto calls Betty.

Betty agrees to go talk to Roberto in front of Ecomoda's board. Betty meets with Catalina and they go to an eye doctor and Catalina makes her change her glasses. Betty arrives at Ecomoda.

Betty enters Ecomoda and the surprise is for everyone, the barracks, Patrícia and Marcela. Bertha resumes her work and goes with her baby. Roberto asks Betty not to hand over the company to him and to manage it until everything is resolved.

Roberto asks everyone to discuss the situation with Betty and she calls her lawyers. Armando and everyone else are surprised by the change. The lawyers tell the board that Betty should remain in charge of Ecomoda.

Betty faces aggression from Daniel and Marcela, but the lawyer Santamaría convinces them that the company must be managed by Betty. Roberto asks Betty to accept.

As a condition for accepting the presidency, Betty asks that Marcela not leave Ecomoda and that she hire Nicolás Mora. Hugo arrives at Ecomoda and Patricia tells him that they are waiting for him in the boardroom.

The firehouse tries to take Ecomoda's secret from Betty, but she refuses to reveal it. Armando and Freddy have a drink at a bar and Armando asks Freddy to look up the address of the disco where the barracks are located.

Freddy enters the disco and sees Aura Maria dancing with a boy. Armando enters the disco and asks Betty to talk, but she tries to leave, despite this, she feels pressured and they talk. He tells her that he loves her.

Despite Armando's pleas, Betty rejects him and leaves, telling him that she doesn't believe him. Marcela is worried about Armando's attitude. Hermes, Betty and Nicolas leave for the court date with the lawyers and Armando.

Armando remembers the comments made by the models about the Frenchman Betty was with in Cartagena. Michel greets Betty very passionately. Patricia flirts with the Frenchman. The barracks gather in the bathroom to discuss Michel's arrival and Armando enters the bathroom.

Michel proposes to Betty that she go to Cartagena to manage a chain of restaurants that he is going to set up. Armando enters the president's office and takes the photo of Betty and the Frenchman from his wallet, and also takes out the newspaper and reads excerpts from the beginning where Betty admired and loved him in silence. Betty enters and introduces him to Michel.

Betty introduces Michel to Armando, who angrily treats him. Michel insists that Betty accept the proposal to work with him in Cartagena. Armando takes Betty's diary to his office and starts to read through it with tears streaming down her face.

Chapter 2
Armando decides to hire Patricia and Betty as secretaries for the presidency and although Betty receives the bodega room as an office, Armando gives Betty the most important functions and Patricia public relations, except managing her personal agenda, which infuriates Marcela.
Chapter 3
During Betty's first buyer's show, she makes a mistake. While she was trying to help Armando and handed him a color chart that he asked for, Betty enters the middle of the parade and falls off the stage.
Chapter 4
Armando reiterates to Betty that his personal agenda cannot be given to anyone. Marcela arrives at the office to complain about leaving Patricia out of her personal affairs, while they are discussing fidelity, Karina Larson, one of the models with whom Armando had a relationship, arrives. Betty tries to get her out of the company.
Chapter 5
Betty tries to hide Karina's presence at Ecomoda, making Armando take her outside, but Patricia sees her and goes and tells Marcela. They try to get Betty's diary out while Armando leaves, taking Karina with him.
Chapter 6
Marcela asks Betty to hand over her position to Patricia, especially the agenda. Armando arrives and argues with Marcela, thanks Betty for what she has done and tells her that he no longer needs a trial period. Mario tries to convince Armando not to get married, he develops a computer program to find the ideal woman.
Chapter 7
Marcela gives Armando a judgment of all his womanizing past, ending up seducing him, forgiving him and promising not to intervene again in his company's affairs. Román calls Betty to ask her out. After an argument with her father, she manages to get him to give her permission for their date. Betty waits to be picked up, even though it's been over an hour already.
Chapter 8
Betty cries inconsolably because she has been rejected again. Nicolás angrily complains to Román, who hits him with his fist. Hermes, Betty's father, also complains to Román, and they end up giving him a blow.
Chapter 9
Betty prepares a secret job to surprise Armando and stand out at the meeting, Patricia rehearses this conversation where Betty tells her mother this. Patricia traces something. Armando sits down with Betty to file the diary.
Chapter 10
Betty confronts Román and humiliates him. Patricia, helped by Marcela, asks Betty for the reports and Patricia hands them over as if they were her own, for which she is congratulated. Armando and Marcela doubt the need to have Betty if Patricia is capable of doing such an efficient job, the barracks invite Betty to lunch and tell her about the company's gossips.
Chapter 11
The barracks tells Betty about Ecomoda's history, its characters, the familiar gossips, and the rivalries between Armando and Daniel. Daniel asks the board to review Armando's proposal very carefully, as he considers it impossible to fulfill.
Chapter 12
At the end of the meeting, they congratulate Patricia on her report. Betty confronts her, but Marcela intervenes and convinces Betty not to tell Armando that the report was hers. Ecomoda employees serenade Roberto in his farewell.
Chapter 13
Armando asks Betty and Patricia to help him design a business plan, but Betty very smartly tells him that since Patricia wrote the report, she should do the project. Patricia angrily agrees and asks Mario for help. Betty asks Nicolás for help in writing the report.
Chapter 14
Betty and Nicolas work on the project all night. Mario and Patricia prepare dinner and talk about love, when Patricia tries to make him work, Mario seduces her and they wake up together.
Chapter 15
Betty spends the entire night doing Armando's work. When she arrives late, she finds Armando furious. Patricia and Mario arrive late and without work. Betty doesn't get a chance to hand the job over to Armando. Hermes arrives at Ecomoda to speak with Armando.
Chapter 16
Betty, very scared, tries to stop Hermes from arguing with Armando, while Armando, furious, admits to Marcela that Betty is of no use to him and that he is going to fire her. Armando fires Betty without giving her the opportunity to hand over the work she has done for him.
Chapter 17
As they say goodbye, Betty hands the report to Armando, who, surprised and fascinated, hugs Betty and sits down with Mario to review it. Patricia tells Marcela about the wonderful night she spent with Mario and the possibilities she has of getting married.
Chapter 18
Marcela and Patricia are very frustrated to learn that Betty was not fired, but that she made the business plan which Armando and Mario are very happy with. Mario tries to avoid Patricia.

Daniel warns Olarte that from now on he has to take care of Betty and any movement she makes.

Betty is convinced that the love of her life is Armando after Mariana reads her tarot cards. Armando announces to everyone that Betty will be in charge of the financial part, under Olarte's authority. Patricia seeks an alliance with Olarte to fight Betty.

Patricia, to make Mario jealous, makes Marcela arrange a date with her brother, Daniel Valencia, a date that turns out to be a failure because of Daniel's contempt for her. Aura María invites Betty to go out with some friends.
Chapter 22
Betty goes out with Aura Maria and her friends to a disco, where both Betty and Aura Maria's friend are bored, as the guy is disappointed that Betty is not the woman he expected. Betty is terrified of Aura Maria's behavior towards her friend.
Chapter 23
Betty lies to her parents, Julia, her mother, is happy, convinced that Betty has met someone. Armando delegates to Betty the management of relations with the Bank, annulling Olarte.
Chapter 24
Armando thanks Betty for everything she has done for him, and she takes it as a declaration of love. After a few months, Betty interrupts a racecourse at the club to get Armando to sign a promissory note for the disbursement of a loan. Marcela is shocked to see that Armando does not scold her, but congratulates her for doing what she did.
Chapter 25
Despite Marcela's fury, Armando asks Betty to stay and join them for lunch with the executives of RAG-TELA, a textile company, and again Betty saves the business. Armando appoints her as assistant to the president. Betty cries with emotion.
Chapter 26
Betty tells her friends that Armando has appointed his assistant to the presidency and they go to celebrate in the bathroom, but are interrupted by Patricia who attacks them; they defend themselves and Patricia tells Marcela. Marcela tells Armando what happened.
Chapter 27
Marcela calls a meeting of the barracks and Gutiérrez, the chief of staff, to ask for a reprimand and a deduction from her salary for assault. Armando, who has heard Betty's version of events, interrupts the meeting and accuses Patricia, as well as announcing Betty's appointment as assistant to the president. Betty alarms Armando with the report.
Chapter 28
Armando, in view of the situation and Betty's diagnosis of the goals established in Armando's project, Armando asks Betty to compose the data to be presented at the meeting. Daniel shows up at Ecomoda and asks Olarte to try to get the report before the meeting.
Chapter 29
Mario seduces Patricia and convinces her to go with him that night. Armando arrives an hour late at his parents' house, who have just arrived from London; Marcela doesn't say a word to him. Betty works on the report with Nicolás and tells her parents that her salary has been increased. Olarte goes to Betty's office and turns on the computer.
Chapter 30
Olarte cannot access Betty's computer. Betty and Nicolas work all night on the report. Olarte and Patricia plan to distract Betty so she can't finish work for the meeting.
Chapter 31
Patricia manages to lock Betty's computer. Armando tells the board that they have to wait for the computer to be repaired. The technician asks Betty for the password to get the information.
Chapter 32
The technician accuses Betty in front of the board of having damaged the computer; she gives the technician the passwords to get the information. Betty's friends help her, and Aura Maria calls a computer expert friend and tells Betty that the damage can be repaired in an hour.
Chapter 33
Betty tells Armando that the computer problem has a quick solution, he confronts the technician who promises to deliver it in 15 minutes. Finally, Armando announces that the report is ready and there is no need to postpone the meeting.
Chapter 34
