Still recovering from his humiliating rout at the hands of Megatronus, Steeljaw allies with a mysterious group of Decepticons led by Glowstrike and Scorponok, operating out of a crashed Cybertronian ship.

As the two Autobot teams are reunited, an old friend returns as they find the Decepticon's headquarters and that Steeljaw is leading a Decepticon guerilla army.

As the severely outnumbered Autobots fight to bring Steeljaw's army down, tensions rise between Bumblebee and Optimus, putting the whole world at risk.
