1st Title Sequence Pitch
Rob Schrab (co-creator) wanted to have a big, colorful, musical opening for The Sarah Silverman Program. In an effort to convince Comedy Central, he created this animated storyboard cut to a phone message Sarah left on Rob's answering machine.
2nd Title Sequence Pitch
The first pitch didn't quite stick with the powers that be so Rob Schrab took the next one a step further. He green-screened himself onto models while lip-syncing to the same phone message from the first pitch. It is unclear if this idea was abandoned due to the expense it would take to create this sequence or everyone being really embarrassed for Rob dressed up like an idiot.
The Chase
This is an animatic of the chase sequence from the pilot, "Batteries." This was done before Jay Johnston, Paul F. Tompkins and Masi Oka were cast. Rob wanted to get a sense of timing before he shot this scene. Originally the script called for an "old school" police chase with Sarah and the cops chasing each other on hijacked wheelchairs. Due to time and money this was never shot.
