The Innocents
A new corpse is discovered hanging by the wrists in the grounds of the Clinagen clinic. The victim bears the same stigmata as the first: a rosette on the stomach. The two women were allegedly tortured according to a ritual used by the executioners during the Inquisition. Investigators discover that the two women were carriers of the same blood type, that they lost a lot of blood and that they were following the same revitalization program. The director of the laboratory and Claude, the witch, continue to intrigue the two investigators who are trying to unravel the mystery of a witchcraft that seems to terrify everyone...
Holy Theft
We discover a macabre scene in front of the church of a small village. The body of the priest is found naked, crucified on an inverted cross. Pierre Niemans and Camille Delaunay investigate this murder, the staging of which recalls the death of a 3rd century martyr. In addition, the relics of the saint have disappeared from the parish of the neighboring town. In full investigation, Camille discovers a note from the killer in his jacket: "The first letter of the Father's name has been pronounced." It is then that a second crime occurs; other relics are again stolen.
Kenbaltyu
The body of a black woman is discovered in a disused hangar. A scabrous staging, and a sharp engraved on the forehead of the victim. The investigation directs the investigators to a jungle of migrants, a few kilometers away. For Niémans and Camille, it is an African ritual crime, tinged with voodoo and mysticism. While Niémans discovers the identity of a first suspect, Camille, she infiltrates the jungle by posing as a volunteer. As the puzzles accumulate, the duo of investigators discovers the existence of a Fulani demon, which seems to terrify the migrants in the camp: the Kenbaltyu. Its mark: a hash engraved on the forehead...
The Line of Glass
As he walks through the garden of the Monferville property, the butler comes across a 17-year-old boy in poor condition. According to him, he would be Herminien de Monferville, child of the large eponymous family, who disappeared 6 years ago. For her part, Camille, supposedly on vacation, is looking for her son Léo, of whom she can no longer find any trace. His investigation leads him to the Monfervilles. Because she has understood her son's plan: to pretend to be this missing child who strangely resembles him, in order to benefit from the luxurious lifestyle of this family. What is his surprise when Caroline de Monferville confirms that it is indeed Herminien! Camille is convinced that Léo is profiting from the misfortune of this grieving mother. But the investigation takes on a whole new dimension when she receives a DNA test between Leo and herself: no match! For his part, Leo, locked in this disturbing building, understands that he has thrown himself into the mouth of the wolf...
