Xiaoxiu Wang, an ordinary student, is thrilled when his childhood friend Yao Shen, with whom he has been in love forever, admits she's interested in him. But this love comes at a price. Jun Sun, the leader of the North District gang, also covets her and has him beaten up by his men and thrown into the river. Just as he's about to drown, he discovers a mysterious glowing cube.

After being miraculously saved from the waters by the mysterious cube, Xiaoxiu realizes that it grants him superpowers, such as the ability to teleport. He will have to learn to master them quickly, because Jun and his gang are tenacious and determined to finish him off.

Feeling empowered by his newfound powers, Xiaoxiu decides to take on the North District gang to protect Yao.
