Episode 1
18 year old Danny Newton ran away from home four months ago and has lived in bus shelters, subways and abandoned flats. He arrives at Alex James’s 200 acre organic farm in the Cotswolds, where Alex lives with his wife and five children. Alex is renovating the farm and, after finding out that Danny is a qualified bricklayer, he puts him straight to work. Alex says: “If he wants to get back on his feet, let’s just try and get him back on his feet.”
Episode 2
In this second episode the mentors have only one more week with their guests staying with them as they try to find ways to improve their situations. But for their homeless guests, this means confronting some of the problems of their past.
Episode 3
The homeless guests go back to the real world, all with new futures to look forward to. Danny, Bridgette and Bobby have jobs, while Jim now has his own flat.
Pop's Blessing
A couple inherits the wife's late father's home; Macfarlane and Westbrooks help create a space honoring his memory while adding a fresh perspective.
Lakehouse Love Letter
Macfarlane and Westbrooks renovate a lakeside home for three generations, aiming to please Grandma Honey and improve communication for deaf family members.
