It's Not a Curse
Moo Gang is not the most capable detective out there. One day, he meets a strange girl, Ha Ram, who claims to be able to foresee death. He is skeptical at first, but a series of events makes it impossible for him to not trust her. He asks Ha Ram for her cooperation.
Reborn
The hostage situation leads to Moo Gang dying on the operation table. However, to everyone’s surprise, he comes back to life although he seems to be a totally different person. Moo Gang seems to have a plan, but he has a hard time getting his way.
Black
As it turns out, it was the notorious Grim Reaper, Black, that took over Moo Gang’s body. When his partner becomes a deserter, he must track him down. By using Moo Gang’s position as a detective, he tries to track his partner down in the human world.
I Need You to Be My Eyes
In order to find out the truth behind her father’s death, Ha Ram joins hands with Man Soo. When Black realizes that Ha Ram can be of help to him, he asks her for help. However, it is not easy to win her over.
She Will Never Save Others’ Lives
Ha Ram realizes that Geon Young might be buried alive and die, so she decides to work with Black. However, Black rejects her as he realizes that it has nothing to do with his runaway partner. But Ha Ram decides to head back to Moojin so she can save Geon Young. Meanwhile, Black again realizes that he might be put in danger if Geon Young lives and follows Ha Ram to stop her.
Side Effects
Black asks Soo Wan about the whereabouts of the lost tape, but she pretends to not know because she is afraid that her secrets may be revealed and that she may be put in danger. Black remembers the man who threatened Moo Gang. Meanwhile, Ha Ram and Black look for someone with a shadow inside and finally find him.
What Parents Would Do for Their Children
Black is once again murdered by the killer who once attempted to kill Moo Gang. Usually, the soul of the grim reaper is supposed to bounce back out after the host human body is dead, but Black is trapped in Moo Gang’s body. Ha Ram visits Man Soo’s father at the hospital and comes across a man who bears the shadow of Man Soo’s father’s death.
Falsely Accused
Seung Chul’s father realizes that Woo Byung Sik isn’t dead. His abduction and terror plan to lure out Woo Byung Sik fails, but he reveals the truth with Black’s help. Woo Byung Sik attempts to smuggle himself into another country but ends up being killed. Meanwhile, the truth about the butterfly watch is revealed, and Black starts to feel humane emotions.

Tiffany is framed as a gold digger and attempts suicide with her daughter, Hyo Jin. Black tries not to interfere with their destined death but ends up against his will. Man Soo thinks he really is the rapist and asks for forgiveness to Tiffany and Hyo Jin. But while he goes off to meet Tiffany, Ha Ram senses Man Soo’s death.

Two boys appear in Black’s dream. Black realizes that the boy who saved Sun Young from Clara in the past wasn’t Ha Ram’s first love, Joon, but another boy named Han Moo Chan. Ha Ram does not realize this and continues her attempts to bring back his memory. Meanwhile, the rape case involving Tiffany is solved.
Did You Really Save Other Humans?
Ha Ram sees many deaths at the old Moojin Time Mart collapse site. Black jumps into the protest scene to save Ha Ram, and he ends up getting involved with changing the fates of many people. Meanwhile, Gwang Gyun finds out that the skeleton was Clara. Another clue is revealed as he investigates further into the case.
I'll Never Forgive You
Actress Lee Mi So, who was blackmailed with a bloody letter after Leo, is killed by an unknown suspect. The suspect has a hook-shaped scar on his face and seems to be related to the mental hospital murder too. Gwang Gyun starts to unveil the truth behind the past cases. Meanwhile, Ha Ram hears that Joon is dead.
Where is Ha Ram?
Ha Ram discovers that Wang Young Choon was the culprit who killed her father, but she becomes missing while chasing him. Black realizes that she is in great danger and starts to look for her. As the police investigate the cases related to Wang Young Choon, they find out that he is also related to the fire case in Moojin 20 years ago and concentrate on arresting him.
Crucial Evidence
Gwang Gyun realizes that Moo Gang has become a police officer to reveal the truth about his brother’s death and starts to connect the past cases together. Ha Ram is devastated by guilt after realizing so many people have gotten into trouble because of her mistakes. Meanwhile, Chun Su decides to act so he can protect Man Soo from harm.
I Will Say Goodbye
Black realizes his true feelings towards Ha Ram and tries to say goodbye. Man Soo is shocked to find out that his father, Chairman Oh Chun Su, was involved in the prostitution case 20 years ago. Gwang Gyun is suddenly found dead by driving drunk. However, Black finds a crucial clue that leads to the truth.
The Revelations – All Things are Connected
Black realizes that Moo Gang was looking for the recorded tape of Sun Young’s rape incident 20 years ago before he was killed and tries everything he can do to unveil the truth. The relationship between the owner of the butterfly watch and Leo starts to be revealed. As everything seems to get solved, another mystery is recognized.
What If Kim Joon is Alive?
Congressman Kim Young Seok has been arrested as the real culprit. However, Black finds something odd in Joon’s old pictures and starts to investigate the relationship between Joon and Soo Hyuk. As Black continues his investigation, he learns more and more about the unexpected and dark truth.
One Last Thing to Do
Black is shocked when he realizes that Joon’s accident 20 years ago was caused by Moo Gang’s mother. The fact that Ha Ram has shot Joon and almost killed him makes Black more painful. In the end, Black decides to pay the ultimate price to finish his unfinished business no matter what it takes.
