In the future, Batman retires and marries Catwoman, with whom he has a son named Damian Wayne, while Dick Grayson has become the new Batman. Darkseid Descending!
When Darkseid attacks Earth and the Justice League is unavailable, Batman must assemble a new team of heroes. However, internal squabbling may split the team before Darkseid has the chance to destroy them.
